Or more likely, after some idiot inadvertently awoke an Old God on R'lyeh most of South America and Australia/South East Asia fell to the advances of the Cult and the subsequent horrors unleashed upon the Earth. With America's almost completely overtaken there was a massive influx of refugees into Europe and parts of Africa. This picture depicts a tactical first strike against the heart of the British Empire and a terrible portent of things to come.
