I don't see the point in the new DLC. I for one won't be buying it until they fix the camera bug; hell I'm not even playing the game anymore until it's fixed (I'm already regretting buying the DLC & items from the in-game shop that I've already purchased).

And the fact that new DLC is being released & bugs that make the game unplayable are not being fixed is a bad sign. This is taking the same route as Dungeon Defenders where they kept shelling out DLC & never fixing the exisiting problems. The game was originally listed a compatible with XP, but Steam eventually made a note that the game was not compatible with XP because they never fixed the issue.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game gets removed from Steam if multiple people start requesting refunds (I'm considering it myself). This happened just recently with WarZ because users were getting banned left & right & ended up requesting refunds from Steam. Thousands of people were getting banned every week, eventually giving the game the title of being a scam.

I personally don't want to see this game removed from Steam as this means that DLC will no longer be released for the game through that platform, meaning anybody wanting the new DLC who has a Steam version will have to repurchase the game again. But if the developers are unwilling to fix the problems that is keeping me from playing the game, then I won't be purchasing new DLC/in-game items anyways.

I have never encountered this camera bug of which you speak. I fear it may be an issue with your particular copy.

The only potentially game-breaking issue for me is if a wooden block is destroyed nothing can be rebuilt there and it basically becomes a piece of oblivion. But this has so far not been game-breaking. There is also the fact that my lappy's power supply is crap and the machine restarts in the middle of playing AGoD sometimes, but that is a problem with my hardware, not the game.

So far, this remains one of my favourite games. Keep up the good work, Zeal! :)

I'm not going to argue with with that. It's one of my favorites also. There are a number of bugs when I have posted in my Steam review on it, but the camera bug is by far the worst because there's no way to avoid it in long games or reset the camera & once it gets to that point, the game is literally unplayable. Literally breaks my heart that a serious bug like this is not getting fixed & keeping me from playing a game that I had on my favorites list from day one.

And I know I'm not the only person running into it either. I have seen a number of complaints about this bug dating back since September (if you Google the issue, you will find threads of people looking for a fix for this all over the web). A hotfix was announced back in October of last year (before I bought the game). Seems the hotfix fixed the issue for some, but is still a problem for others.

Not true.
I just built a wooden block - sold it - built a bed in its place.
;)
I have never been able to sell wooden blocks. Interesting. Well, in my current map in the campaign, the Orcs destroyed a wooden block and nothing could be built there afterward. :\

Could you give some details on the camera bug you experience? I haven't encountered any bugs with the camera, or really, any game stopping problems or issues.

Comparisons to WarZ are a little unfair since AGoD doesn't have any of the issues that that game had, and the developers have released various patches. The game's perfectly play- and enjoyable. XP was never listed as supported, and the developers had still gone to great lengths to find ways to make it work in spite of it not being supported (the problem is that the licensed engine does not support XP).

Haven't really noticed this too much myself.
But you do know you can change the angle of the camera by pressing the on the mouse 3 button and moving up or down?
And that doesn't fix it when it get's too low for you?

I seriously doubt it's the mouse. I tried shutting off all things that could be hooking into the game (Xfire, Steam Overlay & Logitech SetPoint), nothing changed. Would the fact that I'm using the Steam version have anything to do with it?

EDIT: Here's a Steam discussion on the same issue. 2 more people have posted after my reply:

So now it's official: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?674853-A-Game-of-Dwarves-is-now-complete!

I guess we all silently knew it when the devs suddenly disappeared from the forum. :(

But thanks BjörnB to at least tell us. Though i really wish there was an invasion DLC... Anyway, it was one of the games i played the most in the past months since its release.

Thanks to everyone who took part in bringing us this great game! (Even though it could've become even better... ;))

I am very saddened by this news. Like Elemental: War of Magic, this was a game with a lot more potential that was never tapped because it was abandoned too soon. :(
