Hey,

Caption speaks for itself; it has been about five months since the last update of this mod. Considering CK2 has received a relatively significant update since then, are there any plans in the works regarding this mod, or has development gone dormant?

Curious as a new player of the mod, but long-time player of HIP which updates pretty regularly.

Calm down, this shit takes time and effort. I know you're impatient, everyone is. But you're not going to make it happen any faster unless you know how to code or something else useful. After all the work the team has put into this mod, I would be amazed if they one day just gave up without saying anything.

The first rule of waiting for a CK2 mod to update is to never talk about an update :p

I remember when CK2 plus took like half a year to update for Holy Fury and when they got it done the game itself updated almost immediately lol. That was amusing (but probably not for the modders, poor guys).

Either way, patience is a virtue especially when dealing with mods as in-depth as these can be. Good luck in the great waiting game!

I don't read the OP as rude or impatient, I myself was wondering if development was still in progress, and I'm glad someone had asked and an answer waiting for me by the time I got here. I have to assume at some point the modders will pack it in, after all. Thanks for the response, Toccs.

What are u talking about. I play GoT almost every day, latest version is awesome.
The latest version of AGOT is indeed awesome, but it doesn't work with the latest version of CK2. Pretty sure that's all this is about. No quality complaints detected anywhere. I have so much difficulty understanding why people are up in arms over this. Think for 2 seconds from the non-forum grog perspective: not everyone even realizes rollback to a previous version is possible, and even of those who do many don't want to keep 2 or more versions of CK2 installed for mod compatibility. The only people who have any reason to get irritated by update inquiries are the modders, anyway, and the one who replied in this thread clearly didn't, so why are you manufacturing problems?

I suppose the development of CK2 itself is ending. We will harldy get any new DLC or major patches. So modders won't have to update many things anymore.

I just hope AGOT devs will fix bugs, Validator shows hundreds of them.

No new dev diaries since the last patch, and the last two content patches have been free. I'll admit I've thought they're wrapping up CK2 every patch since Reaper's Due, but... itshappening.jpg

The 1.9.1 works fine for me so far with the latest version of CK2. No crashes or issues yet.

I don't disagree; other than economic imbalances as a result of increased court costs imposed by the most recent version of ck2, the mod works fine for me. I suppose the reason I created this thread is my appreciation of the work the developers have made for this mod, and confusion as to why there is so little discussion on what is to come, if anything...I suppose I am a creature of the HIP forums, where there is constant dialogue between the mod team and the community, including dev diaries and the like.

This thread was meant to be more informational for new players, rather than criticism or critique of the mod.

Ck2+ development has been some of the most troubled for any large overhaul of ck2 (it's development heads have changed close to half dozen times, and is currently in a state of a complete overhaul after the devs whom took over from Rylock abandoned it midway through development for HF and left its code in complete disarray). I would not cite ck2+ as a success story.
