Oh crap, did i misspoke?
Not a native speaker. I always thought that 'complimentary' meant something like 'supplied free of charge' or something 'long those lines.
'Complimentary' is to express a compliment, or praise something.
'Complementary' is to Combining in such a way as to enhance or emphasize the qualities of each other or another.
One letter difference.

No... That can't be right... I'm well aware of the difference between complimentary and complementary.

Here, looked 'complimentary' up in a dictionary:
adjective
1.
of the nature of, conveying, or expressing a compliment, often onethat is politely flattering
2.
given free as a gift or courtesy

I wasn't wrong after all! Yeah!

Hmm...that makes them even more confusing since there is some overlap in meaning.

The word you're looking for is complementary, which is pronounced the same as complimentary.

A lot of native speakers make that same mistake, to the point that I just assumed it was a typo/autocorrect thing in your post.

Edit: Always double-check if there are more pages in a thread before responding, folks. Sorry. :\

I blame meaning overlap.

And I blame the tiny little page buttons that I constantly overlook. I'm still used to the big buttons on HBS's site. >_>
Eventually the context of your point would have been lost to time...

Sorry, I was just making a pun. Didn't actually think you were a non native speaker - you posts have better English than some of us who speak it as their first and only language. ;)

Got brain storm today as I was driving around...

Dug through my archives and scanned in an issue of 'The Nam' from '87 (Michael Golden is still the man!)

Oh my, I remember that one. Looooong time ago.

Yes. Yes it was. It was my favorite book!

*UPDATED*

Alright...I think I'm on to something? I decided to change my process as I decided this is going to be just as much of an art piece as it was an illustration piece. Panel 5 clinched the deal when I got that neat line variation and the flats I dropped in were perfect. It gave me the exact look I wanted , so that 5th panel was the keystone to the entire piece.

Thoughts?

Thoughts? I want a full length comic that turns into a series that becomes epic. Although you probably don't have time for that.:D

Thoughts?
I'll keep it simple: awesome, when's the next instalment?

Phew, that was a close call. But I think Hatchy needs a vacation, so she can relax and do something for her tan. :D

If Hatchy is anything like me, the moment the sun thinks of coming out it's on with the SPF1,000,000 and then still running the risk of shriveling up to a crisp
Yes i am one of the stereotypical pasty white Anglo folks
