I've been involved in a few betas with a few developers but this game and the engagement from TTG and especially JanH is outstanding. I say we, if we are ever in the cold lands of Scandinavia, buy these chaps a pint! I am genuinely taken aback by their level of engagement as it shows we're going to have an amazing game that's just going to get better. Well done lads, you've at least given me my favourite game of this century. :)

Well said, its the kind of game i have waited yrs for and could never understand why no one has done it before!!!
Any news on sales figures jan??

I must add my 2 cents as was planning to make such a post as well.

I consider finding a game to enjoy really difficult as I easily get bored with AAA titles like for example Starcraft 2. Very few rts or strategy in general titles have managed to entertain me and fewer managed to do that for a long time. I still play Age of Empires 2 and Achron was probably my personal game of the year, so you get the point.

One big thanks from me as well not only for the engaging gameplay but also for the superb forum support and moderation.

i think many indie games that paradox have lately taken under their release plans is great such as NWAC game of dwarfs and magicka to have some names so first to pay respects i would 1st give shout out and to paradox for beeing bold and having the opportunity to make great games

then next comes up TTG you guys have like all indie games great vision of what you want to do and thus you pay more attention in detail than some bigger "copy and paste" dungeons in some certain fantasy rts games that have bigger budget for developement that human mind comprehenses

of course there is bugs allways when making any program but if you keep sharp mind and update us enough of that "yes we are aware of there bugs and we are tending to fix them" atleast i can forgive lot for this only

so in short great job paradox and even greater job TTG i stand and ave

Just make sure it doesn't start and end only with NWAC. Give us Pacific

Only if the Pacific game contains all the fixes and additions of Arctic War...more interested in this area than some semi-fictional account of a war vs China. In fact, that would be too scary.

Well NWAC is also semi fictional and you don't think war against Russia scary?

Both are likely to happen or not. In the Arctic because of the melting ice and the potential to exploit the resources there. In Pacific the rise of China and its well known policy of intimidation.

Eh, war against Russia is not really likely at all. They've got barely enough money to maintain their navy and air force, let alone modernize them. So if you ask me, war against Russia is safely in the realm of fiction, while war with China seems uncomfortably close to potential real-life parallels...

Well yeah agree.

"Naval War: Pacific Rim".....

Ohhh......with a beefed up Chinese PLAN that "knows" how to operate and build thier own Aircraft Carriers, use of the DF-12 ASCM and a quasi-Aegis copy, deployed on a new fangle cruiser?? The tie in is that the USN was busy in the Pacific. That is why they did'nt show up in the earlier NATO Missions in NWAC. Sounds Good?

That will be an epic battle area. If they do it, TTG will get my money again!!!

Hehe mine too. Chinese also have their own 5th gen stealth fighter now under development though I'm not sure they will eventually produce that or buy the Russian T-50 but probably both. They have the money to buy T-50 and it will give them help to further improve their own 5th generation stealth fighter.

I hope they will include China's land based naval ballistic missiles too. A ballistic missile system designed to destroy carrier battlegroup anywhere east/south east of their coastlines.

I can only imagine what kind of ships Chinese will have by 2030. Probably the Russian built Sovremenny class DDG will still be part of their fleet.

Oh we can only hope Turbo tape to give us this, fingers crossed  .

First sabre rattling has started over the South China Sea. Chinese elite are not hard to predict....

If the US isn't backing down the result will be certain conflict. Better early than later.
Without US involvement Philipinne would not stand a chance...and probably let go or give up the dispute.
