Having patch problems

When I try to update my game I download the patch and run it. Well after loading the Installation wizard an error pops up that says "Europa Universalis was not found on the computer. Installation will now abort." Well, I'm pretty sure I have the game installed, so what am I doing wrong???

Also are we talking about EU1 or 2?
If it is EU2 then there is only the NA patch as the Polish version isnt released yet.

Of course it's eu1. They dealye the damn release date in Poland! AGAI N!!!

You are still not being clear.
If you have the Polish version then you are in trouble as the Polish Publishers didnt release a 1.09 or 1.10 patch for the game!
However all is not lost. There is a way to patch it using another patch. Unfortunately it has been so long that I have forgotten how!
Might I suggest that you look thro the forums for another Polish citizen and ask them? There is also a Polish website about the game that you might like to ask about
