Hi, I'mn new o scenerio making, and have been having a few problems while trying to create some new nations. Perhaps you could give me a hand and tell me what I'm doing wrong?
The first scenerio I attempted to create was to be "The Vinland Saga". I changed the name of the United States to "Vinland", added leader and monarcjhs to the text, edited colonial dynamism and so forth. Then I created a new INC file based off of 1492_IGC.inc and attempted to edit in Vinland. I game then all of Nova Scotia, and set their colonization area to the Eastern Seaboard and so forth. I evne edited the pronvicne inforamtion to name cities for the new country. Sadly, and I'm not sure why, this didn't work. The computer claiemc that it couldn't access a video program of some sort and shut down...mutiple times. I'm not sure exactly what is going on here, or whjat i did wrong. I didn't actually edit or reove a video file, and I'm taking this as an example of a computer just being evil.
The SECOND scenerio I tried to create was called the "German Confederation". I figured that since I couldn't edit in a new nation in the NEw World, i would just try to create a new nation in the old world. I took Saxony, renamed it "Germany", and edited it so it would have all of the territories of Brandenburg, Thurnigen and Pommeria(this is under IGC, BTW). Once again, this has not worked. This time is tells me that it will nto read the link to the .inc file in the eug file. Also when I got past that problem, the scenior will partially load until it gets to the part of "reading scenior" on thel aodign svcreen and just lock up. HELP!!!!
