Romanians are Orthodox, not Catholic, I can ensure you of that (I worked in Romania)

Shaytana's name, as indicated in his email address, is Romanian indeed. But his interest does not have to be limited by that fact. I am from Paris but I am more interested in the Oriental parts of the map.

Maybe just the Romanians that migrated to Spain are though, I know a whole family living here that is at least nominally Catholic. They're probably the exception though.

Don't worry about OT posts, this whole thread is slightly OT itself :D

I know that nationality doesn't necessarily limit ones interests in history, but what I meant is that his knowledge in Romanian history shows; the ruler histories for Wallachia and Dacia were made by him IIRC and are very detailed.

The majority of Catholics in Romania (at least in earlier times) are Hungarians. Of course due to assimilation there's a substantial number of Romanian Catholics nowadays.

Interesting OT discussion here, I am always interested in more information on the mysterious disappearance of Shaytana (it at least is mysterious to me).

Someone who I'd managed to P.O. with a joke response implied he died (said he was a friend of his, and asked why we hadn't given him a eulogy.)

What does "P.O." mean? I am not too good with these abbreviations. Him being dead is one of the things that come to mind. The saddest one, though.

P*ss off. Idiom for "make angry".
