Hello,

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but i am having trouble trying to install both these patches ( I am aware that i won't need to install v1.1 if i install v1.2) Everytime i try to install the patches, i keep getting the below error message:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Paradox Interactive\Doomsday\HoI2.exe

An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
DeleteFile failed; code 5.
Access is Denied

Click to Retry to try again, Ignore to skip the file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.

I am unsure of what to do so any advice on how to install the patches successfully would be greatly appreciated. Sorry about making the original thread in the wrong place.

Right-click the patch installer and run it with administrator rights. The other option would be to deinstall the game and to reinstall it somewhere outside of c:\program files to avoid these (and future) permission problems.
