Hi misterbean (and guys)!

I am enjoying reading through the Take 2 in PDF form currently and have tasked myself just today to convert this Take 3 into PDF.

If someone is already on it, please stop me now! Or else I will continue and eventually catch up with misterbean's progress  Cannot say when I will be there, but copy-pasting and adjusting layout is not a BIG deal, so a week or three might do the trick...

Keep it up misterbean!

Great job!

Thx Gnorf!

Current progress: 15/54 parts are in and edited (I count 52 Articles + 2 Intermezzos).

For some images I used cropping to be able to squeeze relevant text to the same page. What is cropped is usually either only the bottom part of the screenshot (up to the relevant dialog window), or also some part of the top of the screenshot (if more text was to be fitted onto the page).

Another small update - 25/54 done now and so far the document is a whopping 453 pages already!

Might be I will have to export 2 PDFs in the end, to reduce a single download size. But I will decide upon the final export (and fiddling with export settings can save quite some megabytes in a PDF).

I don't know how much love this is going to get with the release of HoI4 now... any thoughts, @misterbean ?

I have taken a writing hiatus, which has nothing to do with HOI 4. I'm still going to finish this. I have the UK save. Don't worry. I will be back here soon...ish.

Great to hear misterbean!

Small update - 30/54 done.
559 pages so far.

I am also creating bookmarks from the Chapter headings, for easier jumping to and fro.

BTW, just to chime in on the "love after HOI4" point - I think from reading various discussions and articles (and just right now after I finished listening to the newest Three Moves Ahead podcast, where they dissected HOI4 - admittedly not in a pleasant way), HOI3 is going to stay for at least a year or two, before HOI4 gets patched and updated to a more "acceptable" level. And given many sales on Steam/GOG to get HOI3 cheap, many folks might jump on its bandwagon, especially since it is now the most polished version (even despite any lingering faults). And - there are many many mods out there.

Did HOI3 not follow the same path, until TFH, eh? :)

Not in mechanical details that have changed, but in more general terms there is value tin reading a good, thoughtful AAR and analysis, especially when the subject matter is the same.

Tried to chop the PDF down to 45Mb, but the image quality suffered too much, so I will most likely leave it at 80Mb to preserve quality viewing even on smaller screens/resolutions.

I would like to compliment you as well. I took a quick peek at it, and it looks really professional. Well done!

Why don't you split it into parts? That way you wouldn't lose anything and it would be more manageable for those who don't have high speed access.
