Forgive my ignorance, but why does Rome start with 7 hebrew pops ? I could onyl find mention of an isralite envoy to to Rome in 2nd C BC 150 years after the start date. Rome itself has 4/58 pops as hebrews which is 20% the population of of Jerusalem at game start.

Did Rome really have thousands of hebrews living within its borders in 304BC? would love to see a source.

It didn't, surely not in 304 BC. It has been pointed out many times but I don't think the devs have ever commented on this so we can only guess why this is the case.
It's absolutely ahistorical but whatever I guess

Or how 2 territories in bosporan kingdom have a hebrew majority. If it is historical please give a source as it sounds really cool.

I assume devs wanted to simulate how Jews migrated and spread to live in major cities around the Mediterranean world in large numbers. But since the game didn't have any mechanics for that in the release version, they just put a few Jewish minorities around in some cities.

Then later, the game got proper population migration mechanics that can simulate Jews living in large cities within Roman Empire after conquest, but those minority pops weren't removed from files and remain as a legacy of early game versions.

But that's just my own theory to rationalize it.
