Okay, bad news, guys. I accidentally deleted the Nakonid save game when deleting other, less useful save games.

I actually had gotten reasonably far in the next update, but now all of that is wasted.

Sorry guys.

I may start up a different AAR, so stay tuned for my second attempt at an AAR.

EDIT: Actually, I'd like the input of the forum members on where I should place my next AAR. I'm open to suggestions about the region of the dynasty I'll play.

I'm sorry to hear about the save game deletion.

I'd actually like to see an attempt at recreating Khazaria using the Jewish duchy of Khazars. You'd definitely have a challenge and it would be fun to read about.

@Mr_A: An interesting idea, but I just downloaded and installed the "Before the Conquest" mod, and I don't think it works with the Playable Muslims and Pagans mod. Sorry.

@JDMS: Thanks for the encouragement! It's annoying that my save game was deleted, but I am looking forward to choosing a dynasty for my next attempt.

Since I have the "Before the Conquest" mod, should I play before the Battle of Hastings, after it, or after an alternate history scenario in which Harold Godwinson is killed at Stamford Bridge, and the Norse and Normans divide England between them?

And again, I would like suggestions to the region of my next AAR.

Since I have the "Before the Conquest" mod, should I play before the Battle of Hastings, after it, or after an alternate history scenario in which Harold Godwinson is killed at Stamford Bridge, and the Norse and Normans divide England between them?

And again, I would like suggestions to the region of my next AAR.

There's at least a few Saxon ones going on right now, so that wouldn't be too bad, and I could always pilfer ideas from you re: Norman-ified and Dane-ified England.

So I support this idea.

With regard to your next attempt, I think an alternate history where Hardrada prevails at Stamford Bridge might be interesting.

Considering we already have a Saxon AAR where Harold Godwinson wins at Hastings, another where Edgar Ætheling goes crusading, and a third where Earl Morcar's Northumbrians somehow succeed, I think a new scenario is definitely in order, and the one you posited sounds different enough.

There's getting to be so many of us Saxon authAARs, we really ought to have a guild or a union or something.
