Hello and help

Hi to all of you.This is my first ever post on this forum because i just found about this great site.I am Sadia Khan from pakistan.

My problem is that i bought crusader kings some time back.Now i think it is duesvult,i am not sure i figured it out because when the game is loading it is writtn Dues Vult on the top of screen.Any way the game works fine but sometimes it crash.yesterday i tried to install 1.04 and 1.05 patches but both said that "crusader kings not installed on your pc" what can i do to fix it.
I also tried to install improvement patches for duesvult but when the game is about to start it says something about "palette,GFX error back and front bmp not found" something like this i hope you ppl get my point,I ignore this error but then the game starts with poor graphics and some unknown msgs.Can anyone help me please?

You probably don't have the Deus Vult Expansion, since you would have remembered that you had to download it from GamersGate,

The words Deus Vult are mentioned on the opening screen of CK to, that is the cause for this confusion

About your problem with the patches, I would suggest to do a complete reinstallation of CK.

Hey thanx for replying i have reinstalled the game and have not installed any patches or mod's and it is working fine but the 1.04 or 1.05 say the same that crusader king not found.Can you please guide me which patch i should install now?

This probably means that you have an illegal version of CK.

Where did you buy it ?

hi sorry for replying so late as i didn't get any chance to log on lately.Well i also suspect it as it is in a dvd abd that dvd has 5-6 games in it.I think it's therefore not working.moreover i think it's hard to get an original version in pakistan especially my city,one can get original versions in other cities but most of cd's i buy turn out to be damaged.Well once again i thank yoy for your help.take care bye.
