(There are 4 Chris's at HBS, so last names work better)

Had to conduct some training in Poland a couple years back, and there were three Tomasz's in the class, with another that would end up in later classes, possibly at the same time. Naturally, nice long Polish last names I had trouble pronouncing, since the only thing I can say in Polish is "My hovercraft is full of eels."

So, they all got pilot call signs from Top Gun. Maverick, Iceman and Viper were my trusty students, with Wolfman in the next class.

Everyone liked that, except Viper. He looked up the character on the internet on a break and complained, "I don't want to be Viper! He has a porn 'stache!"

Followed development of this from the start and it is cool to see the whole thing reaching the finish line. I hope the last month goes as well as the rest!

Hi everyone! All the cool kids seem to be dropping in here to say hello, and far be it from me to miss out on that.

I'm Brenton, and I've been an engineer with HBS since Shadowrun Returns. I worked on a bit of everything there, but was mainly responsible for the Editor that not only shipped with the game for modders to use, but was also what we used to make the game in the first place!

On BATTLETECH, I'm the one who's bringing you the MechLab, integrating audio and music with the game, doing a bit of the combat flow, and a smattering of other things. I'm loving every minute of what I'm doing here, and I hope that you all have as much fun with the game as we've had making it.

Hey all! I'm Andy, one of the Gameplay Engineers on BT. I've been here two years, and my focus is combat. I'm complicit in the deaths of all those pilots Kiva mentioned.

Lately: Lots of work polishing up the cinematic cams, and enough camera settings to make... most people happy most of the time :)

Can't wait to get our game into your hands!

And, a big welcome to all the people from our old forums :D

(Also Catapults > Everything, not biased or nuthin')

Well, yeah, the time you stepped out of one, you got blown up at maximum range by an AC/20. (Pour one out for Beta, folks.) I hope we see more of the Beta Expert System on Death From Above in the future, by the way!

hi it's me kiva yr friendly neighborhood lead designer. i make mechwarriors die.

also all the other stuff, i guess, but i wanted to focus on my proudest achievements in this post.

"Achievement Unlocked: Save the Metal, Kill the Meat"

All others who I haven't had the pleasure of meeting via Q&A videos or on the forums? Hello once more and I can't wait to break your game or melt my toaster of a PC trying to play it :)

Hello neighbours! Just moved in, but I gotta say, this place looks pretty roomy. I think I'm getting used to the new digs.

Once again, thank you all for the hard work.

~Leone.

lol you are all new here your "joined" really make all of you "noobs" now :p

Although i don't use to post here, i have been around since a few years, and now just waiting for my BT code to arrive to be able to change my avatar to a Battletech one, as it should be.

Welcome all! ;)

Hello everyone, I'm hbs_bitMuse, the Network Engineer for Harebrained Schemes. I'm guilty for designing and implementing the technical multiplayer systems of BattleTech, and pushing game infos into a series of tubes (among other assorted things; I wear many hats.)

I love engaging with our community and the fans of BattleTech and I'm glad to be here. I've been a member of Harebrained Schemes for close to a year and a half, and it continues to be a pleasure to work with all the certified butt-kickers who have been working hard to produce this awesome game.

You can also find me on the Discord channel as hbs_bitMuse, and while I absolutely do enjoy conversation and questions, I may not always respond or have the capacity to respond. (Fair warning!)

I cannot wait to see people playing our game, I think you will like it.

I'm pretty sure notices of health & safety violations are her unit's only source of toilet paper.

She still has a unit? How did they manage to remain in her proximity and not end up dead?
