Help a newbie out :)

Hi im new to hoi2 and this kinda game in general, ive played the single player for the past few days and i love it (though im not really very good playing on easy) and i wanna try the mp. Now im still very new and i would need alot of pointers so i was wondering is there a group i could join and play with just as some experiance thx

I think you should try to look at some of the US games (presuming you are from the US).

I don't think anyone thinks you'r a retard but it's very few that looks in to other posts when they try to recruit players. I can't help with a game seens I'm from Sweden and don't look in to US games.

Another tip is to post more info, like when you wanna play, if you got ICQ or MSN and what kind of game you are looking for and so on.

Thx for the reply, Yes im in the US tho i dont use msn or aim i do use xfire (ggallin79) and mirc (#hyd @ gamesurge). As for other info im looking for anyone to play with on the weekend if possible between 7pm-2am, I wanna try coop or vs it doesnt matter which really i just need help with a few things. Thx again

Me too. I`ve only played SP since I got i. An I` like too play MP, but I don`t know where I can play. I`m Norwegian.

lots of games going on there... just check the threads if the game's arent recruiting chance is they need substitutes or replacements.

It starts a little early if you're on the west coast (which 7pm are you free), but it's a decent group. Lost a couple of the early players, so Italy is now free. Commonwealth countries are free at the moment as well, though Canada probably won't be.

Italy, supported by a decent German player, might be a decent country to try out in MP. Challenge, industry+tech+manpower, not too many units, but a lot of strategic breadth. It's probably my favorite.

No matter which country you choose, you can be a part of a team that can give you tips and back you up where you stumble. Check us out.
