Hello, I'm from Belgium and I got the games last night. I have already played for quite a while and redone a save and for the very first time I encounter a rather annoying bug.. When I play everything works fine then at one point the game is like freezing.. time does not advance any more while the speed is x3 the villagers run on the spot.. and the research is stopped.. and I can't do anything anymore.. Tell me that there is a solution I don't want to lose my save...

I don't know where to find the log file

Hey!

I checked the save and the issue is caused by a random bandit being spawned in the wrong location. We've fixed the issue in the patch that we're working on, but sadly the save that you attached won't work until then. Hopefully, you had some earlier saves that you could continue, or in the worst case, start a new game.

J’ai vérifié la sauvegarde et le problème est causé par un bandit aléatoire engendré au mauvais endroit. Nous avons résolu le problème dans le correctif sur lequel nous travaillons, mais malheureusement, la sauvegarde que vous avez jointe ne fonctionnera pas avant cette date. J’espère que vous avez eu quelques sauvegardes plus tôt que vous pourriez continuer, ou dans le pire des cas, commencer une nouvelle partie.

Eh bien j’ai une sauvegarde qui n’est pas bug mais le problème je joue juste un peu et bim ça recommence à bug ^^ il y a peut-être quelque chose que je peux faire pour empêcher le bandit de planter le jeu ? sinon, j’attendrais que le correctif soit rejoué ^^

Sorry it's a bug because of the automatic google translator, Well I have a save that is not bug but the problem I just play a little bit and bim it starts to bug again ^^ maybe there is something I can do to prevent the bandit from crashing the game? if not, I would wait for the fix to be replayed ^^

I'm having the same issue. I don't know if this will help as it looks like you have already identified the problem but I am attaching my save file & logs. With this save if you load it up, keep it on pause. Hit [C] to center the map on the campsite then scroll down until you can see the gate. To the right of the gate there is a guard post, then a Society Depot. Watch the depot and unpause the game. You will see two settlers exit the depot, turn left (their right) towards the main road. before they reach the road they will freeze, running in place. Put the game in high speed and in less than 30 seconds all settlers will freeze, the "day clock" will stop and all other timed functions on the colony map will cease. Interestingly the notifications continue to work. On the World Map things continue to work until you've used all action points. Since the "day clock" has stopped the game is essentially dead at that point. Saving, exiting, quitting, and reloading has no effect.

Hopefully your patch will be out soon and fix things. I have older saves that I can revert to but I will lose a lot of progress. Please don't make me do that! :(

Is there any ETA on the patch? My game is borked because of this bug and I am hoping the patch will fix it so I can continue my game.
