Hi,

I've played Rome really few because all the problems it had at the start (just to make it clear: I WORSHIP Paradox anyway). But now, of course, with the new patch everything seems different and I want to give it a new try. Still, since Paradox move away from the "event-driven" kind of games (with EU3), I've became a mod-player (more than before), and I'm wondering which mod I shall use for Rome. I see in the mod-forum that there's basically two mods that can be compared to, say, MagnaMundi or Core, that are: SPQR and ROME: ENHANCED.
Which one I should try?

Thanks,

Ricroma

PS. Sorry if this post sounds stupid... but I really don't want to study! :) Plus once I'll be finish with school, I'm planning to take 2 days off to relax, read what I want, and play Rome...

This belongs in the mods forum. Moved accordingly...

Why, you should play my mod, of course, once .11 is released in a couple of days.

(I say "once .11 is released", because it finally adds the cultural factions, diplomatic events, and family modifiers that I've been promising for weeks :) . It also takes more steps to represent how closely a person holds a given view.)

At the moment Rome: Enhanced is more complete, but try them both. Or if you want to help with a mod, or vote on what would be best for a mod, go to the Unified Modders' Initiative forum (first link in my sig) :D

Thanks for the answers... For now I've downloaded Rome: Enhanced, I don't have too much time for playing, and so I cannot play them both and test which one I like the most. Just a thought: once I've downloaded Rome: Enhanced, the rar file is only 600Kb is this right?

Thanks

Ricroma
