help, DD1.2, aircraft size

I have DD V1.2 I tried to change the maximum size of aircraft to 8 and it will not let me now, nor can I change the revolt text file yo give the CSA Kentucy and Oklahoma when ever I try using notepad it says can not create C:/Paradox/Doomsday...........

I could change the build time of factories just fine but everything else I use to edit I'm unable to do anyone know why?

You cant save the changes?

The file is read only, you must rightclick on the file, select properties and unselct read only.
