I recently re-formatted my computer and I have just re-installed EU2 with patch 1.05 and the EEP. However, whenever I try to run the game, nothing happens and the game doesn't start. In fact, I can't even autorun the game when I put in the CD in my CD-RW. I never had a problem like this before I re-formatted my computer. Can someone tell me how to get the game working again? :(

I've reinstalled the game with only the patch, and it does seem to be working for the moment. I've yet to try it with the EEP, however. What's going on?

On another note, for some reason, since around the time I installed EU2 for the first time since I reformated the computer, my CD-RW's autorun function isn't working. Did this have something to do with EU2? How do I enable it again?

it could be a bug with the EEP, you will have to ask them in the EEP forum :)

Re: Autorun: You need to tell me wich OS you are using.
With Windows ME go to the Device Manager, Right-click on your CD-ROM, select properties, go to settings and check the box "Auto-Insert notification." If it is checked, uncheck it, press ok everywhere, restart the computer and repeat the process to enable it. Sometimes it works :)

If there's something wrong with the EEP, then I guess I'll have to make do without it for now. I'll ask around about it though.

As for my CD-RW's autorun, its still having problems. I tried what you said, but its still not working. Do you know any other way to get it to work?

still assuming you have Windows 9x/ME, boot in Safe Mode (F5), go to the device manager and delete all entries under CD-ROM. Press ok and reboot. it might work...

what about xp?

you reach the device manager by going to system properties, hardware, then you get the device manager.

Do the same as with ME and delete all entries in the CD-ROM field.
