Ok This game looks very very interesting. I have played Hearts of Iron series. So I download the Demo. Wow this has certainly blown my mind. I ve look at the you tube videos but thay haven't really helped with the intricate game. I want to buy it but at the moment quite put off by not knowing what I'm doing. Can any point me to some tutorial or game play help that I can help me one get a grip of the demo and then hopefully persuade me to get full game??? It looks cracking.......

its great, however there is a learning curve that I am still overcoming, I have seen tutorial videos around somewhere on this site! I just need to find the screen that enables me to look after the blueprints for military hardware.

SRCW, along with it's predecessors SR2010 and SR2020, are very complex games. The learning curve is nearly vertical, but that's what these forums are for. Just ask questions. With luck, you'll get aswers.

If deployed, select a unit and then go to Unit Orders and click the Technical Readout button. If in reserve Double click the unit and TR will pop up.

is it posible to upgrade a unit from an obsulte to a modern unit

what happens to units you stratigic redeploy instead of reserve (i got confused) they disapear off of the map and the lists yet they still still show up as being in my army (i'm not a major)

If you are refering to the strategic pool, that is a function of the game reserved for the USA/USSR only. It makes managing an all-out nuclear first strike a one-click deal and makes managing ICBM's and strategic bombers easier. If you are not playing as the USA/USSR, placing units in the stratigic pool is futile, as there is nothing you can do about it. I do think that the Dev's are concidering adding that feature for all countries in sandbox mode.
