Hello everyone,

I made a model in Sketchup with is 80x40 Meters, so it should be 10x5 block in Skylines, I export this with the default settings (creates a 3ds file).
Then I import it in the blender and export it as FBX.
When I load the Assest Editor and I try to import the model I cannot press continue, and the model doesnt show in the preview window.

What am I doing wrong?
Which export settings should I use for FBX files in blender?

Thanks in advance

Hi, I have the same problem and I don't have find solution since 2 weeks.

I did some testing and not one works :

Create with Sketchup direct convert in FBX ( not work )
Create with Sketchup convert in FBX, open in Blender and save ( not work )
Create with Blender to FBX ( not work )
Autocad to FBX ( not work )

My test is a simple Box without texture.
I am lost. :(
I have a lot of my SC4 model to converting, but I'm stuck.

Thank you in advance for the help. ;)

You can also go directly from Sketchup to Cities when saving as .dae and check if everything works. If only one face shows up, you're missing some connections in your model.

And then use Sketchup and Sketcuv for texturing and you're done
