Hello AARLandia!

I am Solomon Barbarossa common lurker to these parts. Recently I've become somewhat overwhelmed with the desire to try and get another AAR of my own going (I nver really got my previous Attempt off the ground). But I find myself profoundly paralyzed with indecision: as I have nearly a Dozen(!) places that I think would make for fun campaigns and good narratives. Rather than continuing to go back and forth on themself, and probably never finalize my decision and give up on the whole idea, I've elected to ask you to try and perform a Sway action on me to help me make up my mind.

Here are the Options I'm looking at in no particular Order:
Count Otger of Spreewald [1066]
Petty King Aella of Northumbria [867]
Count Hoel of Cornouaille/Kernev [1066] (Restart of my last attempted AAR)
Duchess Matilda of Tuscany [1066]
Prince Adelchis of Benevento [867]
King Anto IV of Navarra [1066]
Petty King Dumnarth of Cornwall [867]
House Spartenos of Napoli [Either Date]
Chieftess Audr of Vestrland [867]
Petty King Aed of Connacht [1066]
Prince Gisulf of Salerno [1066]
One of the Breton Starts [867]

Thank you for any and all input.

Happy Map Painting!

First of all, I think that this qualifies as semi-interactive and technically needs mod permission.

Secondly, I’d be interested in Northumbria. I totally get the too many ideas problem.

Not a mod obviously, but asking for gameplay suggestions ahead of an AAR is fairly common practice. Reckon this is fine.

As for the matter at hand – I’d like to see a Cornish project. Let’s see some P-Celtic success for once!

I too vote for the Cornish project.

That said I'm fairly sure that any kind of significant success automatically disqualifies one from being properly P-Celtic. Heroic and/or tragic failures are much more in line with cultural expectation and requirements. ;)

The paradox of the P-Celts: where heroic failure is success in itself.

I'd go with somewhere surrounded by enemies on the continent. Bit more interesting and chaotic that way.
