Actually, I'm half-way doing that.
I started a new Germany game with some IC tweaks to make Germany somewhat vanilla-like, a matter I felt doing to enjoy a more historical approach with a developed Kriegsmarine and other.

I conquered Poland (took me a month) and France (Vichy triggered July 12th 1940). I reluctantly took Italy into the Axis even though I know UK will land there around early 1942 (they always do). But this time I wanted to attack Britain, too.
I massed up a paratrooper force of three divisions (2 regular + Brandenburg division). I threw them to Dover and with a lot of air support I took over the city. Then I started pumping 25 German divisions there.

Now, the conquest turned out to be an incredible show of British heroism. Despite me having always around 20 divs versus their three garrisons, it took me WEEKS to take over London.

The situation looks like this:

The 1 infantry division Rundstedt is attacking WILL hold out for months. MONTHS. I just had a battle against 3 garrisons and they held their positions from October to mid-December.

Not a bad thing, really. I can fight. But the problem is I have to be in Russia in a few months! So I have to kill these off first. But not going to happen before March, it seems.

I guess this seems pretty hopeless... But if anyone has an insightful suggestion, I'd like to hear it. If there is a UK-surrenders-to-Germany event, I'd like to hear the event number and trigger it in the name of realism.

This is really starting to piss me off.

All the time. I have 9 CAS bombing out their organization. However, the enemy organization drop stops at around 5, which is more than enough for them to keep fighting. My divisions have attack power at 1%, even at days, due to land being frozen.

if they offer peace will you accept?

I managed to get them surrender in time. Yes, I did trigger the event manually, but not until I had plunged deep into Scotland.

Another matter I would like help with:

In June 22 I invaded the USSR but surprisingly I got my ass handed to me by them. The reasons:
- Vast, vast Soviet army
- Soviet Union not experiencing any historical organization penalties
- My small army (99 divisions, half of which armored/motorized).

I loaded a save week before Barbarossa and didn't invade this time. I decided to wait another year or two. Even though my IC is lower than theirs, I'm sure I can pack more bunch in the future, being a human player and all. However, since in Titanium beating the Soviet Union by conventional means is impossible for a noob like me, I have a plan:

- Build 10 fortifications on German-Soviet border for in case of Soviet attack
- Finish German nuclear program.
- Reinforce garrisons in Britain and France to prevent American assault
- Have an expeditionary force in Spain to fend of American assaults (Spanish AI is incapable of beating any American attack forces, despite them being only a few divisions large)

Situation:
Political
East front

So basically I would start the invasion by nuking Soviet Union a few times and then encircle their army while they have to fight their 100% dissent.

What do you say?

haha nice strategy for you. however it will take about a year to build lvl 10 forts all along the line, and the romanians/hungarians wont have your troops or forts.

also im worried about the russians just busting through. i mean, if they can use their full potential, i assume they can just send 100 divs to attack suwalki and break you from there. i suggest you build a ton of interceptors, and at least 3 defense lines to the rear, all with 100%infra and lvl 10 land forts. also remember to fortify the coast in france with coastal forts. they wont repel assaults by themselves, but they will definitely slow down any attack. if you are fortifying you might want to build a fleet of subs. say what you will, but ´44 subs are awesome, especially at ful naval doctrine research.

you know? im gonna try this. ill invade denmark and norway, and then invade the UK. or maybe after france. ill make some transports, a lot of subs, and research my strat and transports, as well as aiming to complete the first nuke.

It worked.
Soviets attacked me in March 1942 when each of the border provinces had 4 land fort and 20+ german divisions

It gets better: Greece declared war on USSR a day later. A peace was made with them when I beat UK.
Now the Soviets are at war against both Axis and Allies.
I still can't plunge and win them, though, but I'm optimistic. I got time.

of course you got time. after you finish france and invade Yugoslavia and Greece you can quite happily just sit there waiting, building tons of fighters, troops and your secret Atombombe program. just remember: you need strat bombers to drop nukes. i once got to '47 and even though i had ballistic missiles i was screwed and was unable to load em.
