HELP ME ! my EuII doesn't work on my new PC !!!!

Please help me . I tried to install EUII ( in Italian , Leader distribution ) on my new PC ( an Acer with Windows XP ) and doesn't work .

The installation seems successful , but when I try to start the program , the screen becomes black and the PC blocks .

Go into your europa universalis folder and rename the AVI folder to AVI_back. Then try it again.

I can't remember the rest of Castellon's advice ATM.

Black screen? Tombom's advice should help.

Castellon's finest:

1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16bit
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.
