More specifically:

The mod itself seems to be working fine for multiplayer, but once you save and try to reload/re-connect you can no longer select the pre-scripted factions. And since we have several people stating this problem it seems to always happen.

Does anyone else's mod have this issue? Is there something I can do to fix it? Or is this a bug in vanilla with pre-scripted empires?
 
I recently discovered the same issue, but it was not with that mod, but with the Predator mod. A friend of mine was playing as the Predator race, and we saved the MP game to continue later on, but when we tried to continue, the Predator race was not in the list anymore to be selected by my friend.

It seems to be that any custom modded pre-scripted race disappears if a client tries to select it in a savegame.
