Help! Need assistance with a mod to fix a graphical glitch

So basically, I am experiencing a graphical glitch where the chain mail on the horse of the Iberian heavy cavalry model flickers a ton. It makes it really annoying to look at. I have the idea for a simple solution, which is just to mod the file so the Iberian horse is replaced with, say, the German one. They look nearly identical when compared but the German one isn’t glitched. Anyway, my problem is I don’t know how to mod at all. Also, I’m on Mac. Could anyone help me to mod on Mac, or throw together a mod on the steam workshop that simply replaces the Iberian horse? Or at least tell me how I can fix the glitch?

If not, then they might at least give you an idea how to do it.
Modding on Mac works the same as not, as far as i know.
All you need is an appropriate editor.

Unfortunately, neither mod works. I used manic's and the model is broken with or without it. The other mod is a sub mod for a conversion mod and does not fix anything.

There is quite literally no information online about how to mod ck2 on mac. I can't find the location of files, or the text files, nor do I know where to put everything because stuff is ever so slightly different and I do not want to mess it up.

Here is a video of the glitch, if you are interested. You can tell it's just the horse, and I think if a mod could just replace the horse overlay with that of the german one the model would work fine. I just need someone to make that mod and post it on the steam workshop, since after an hour of trying I could not do it myself.

Again, it's the same as on PC.
All you need is to look at existing mods and basically copy them where appropriate, but that might take more than an hour at first.
Files are in Users/<UserName>/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/ , same as on PC.

PS: Are you sure it's a universal problem and not your graphics card or its settings ?
PS_2: It doesn't flicker for me, but i'm on PC.

thank you. Sorry for being cranky, I’ve been asking everywhere without much response. I’ll try tech support and look at modding again. Again, I apologize for coming off as needy, and I will try my best to fix the issue on my own. I’d be surprised if it was my graphics card, though. I don’t see how it could do that to a single texture and no other textures, as I have seen it only with that specific texture.thanks a ton for the locations stuff, that’s really helpful. I mostly scoured the wiki which didn’t even tell me which files correlated to which dlcs, so after unzipping 15 files plus the added frustration of nobody responding, I gave up. I appreciate the time you took in responding to my post.

I get the feeling that was a misunderstanding based on "nor do I know where to put everything ", as i simply gave you the location
where mods are. Not sure what you intended to say, as mods are structured the same way as the game is.
By the way, modding is rarely simple. Whatever, i still expect it to be a technical issue. I hope that tech support can help.
