Hello everyone,

I have an issue with governments in the mod I am working on.

Basically, everything is the same government, even though the potential for others are met, while the chosen ones are not. The chosen one is higher in the list (the highest) so it probably has to do with that, but I am unable to figure out how to change the potential accordingly to still have more than 1 government type on my map.

I will include the file in this post.
The only thing to know about the map is that there are roman and greek cultures present in characters as well as in titles.

I will upload a steam workshop update later today if you want the bigger picture, but it shouldn't be required to figure out the issue with the governments?

I also tried skimming the government potentials to only "culture = greek" and "not = is_government_potential = greek_city_government" in the respective governments but still, it only chooses the first one.

I have noticed that most mods have feudal_government still in the feudal_governments.txt even if it's not used, so maybe that is my issue? You see I am grasping for straws at this point.

Any help is appreciated. If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

Well they probably don't actually match the potential for greek_city_government and that's where the bug is. If you move the govement to the top of the file do they get that or the second one?

Okay, first of all, thanks for the reply and help.

I tried that now, and indeed it changes the governments for the greek characters to greek_government. The rest remains senatorial.

I guess I can work with that for now, though I am still not sure why this is the case as the senatorial_government shouldn't fit characters with culture=greek?

If anyone has an answer to that it would still be very much appreciated.
