Hello everybody!
I am making a mod right now, and I want to add a monarchy government with a Senate mechanics without losing monarchy ones. In dev diaries Johan said, that it is possible to make factions available to different government types.
For Modders: You can freely add or remove factions and make them available to different government types, or have any type of trigger allowing the faction to give unique ones.
Is it applicable for monarchies? If yes, does someone know the way how to achieve this?

I'm not sure whether it can work or not, but you could try it.

Looking around the game files I found the code for the default parties in the "common\party_types" folder.
civic_party = {

allow = {
is_republic = yes
}

ruler_modifier = {
global_tax_modifier = 0.2
price_civic_party_action_cost_modifier = -0.5
}

}

In the "allow" section of yournew party, instead of "is_republic = yes" you could put "is_monarchy = yes" if you want every monarchy government to have access to that party or "government = [your government name]" if you only want the party to be available only to a specific government.
