After many years of playing CK2, I've decided to make a small trait mod that adds a few interesting traits into the game that blend well with the vanilla experience and add some extra flavor to characters without doing anything too over the top. I know, I'm late to the party.
My predominant issue is that event modding and CK2's scripting language is, at least right now, a bit over my head, although I am learning little bits here and there. Anyway, I figured I would tap into the community here (and also reddit) for some assistance, so on to my question/request:
I was wondering if someone would create and event for me that would grant a specific trait when a character is member holy order, mercenary band or society. I would like the event to be guaranteed to fire and work for the AI as well. For example, when a character joins (or is already a member of) the Knights Hospitalier, that character gains a "Hospitalier" trait. Or if the character is a member of a mercenary company, they gain a "Sell Sword" trait.
I already have the UI and the traits themselves made, but am unsure of how to actually have characters gain the appropriate traits. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to give me a hand! I'm sure this is probably a somewhat straightforward thing, but frankly scripting is just over my head.
If someone would be kind enough to create me a "template" event, I could tailor it to each specific trait. Should anyone take up the task, the specifics of what I'm looking for are:

- The event should fire 100% of the time after joining the group for a player character (obviously not applicable for holy orders, mercenary companies, etc.)
- I don't need any event to remove the trait, as it should be permanent (removing traits when leaving is perhaps something I will work on once I'm more familiar with scripting)
- There should only be one choice (which results in gaining the trait 100% of the time). This should hopefully guarantee that the AI always accept.
- A separate but similar, hidden even should fire for characters who start out in these groups to ensure all ai members of the order gain the trait.
