Help requested on fixing my game(save game freeze bug)
I played along game as rome, now it is 672 and I'm encountering the freeze game on the same date with all my saves around this time period. I'm confident I know what's causing it from reading up on these forums. You see the seluecid empire is at war with seleucid empire, not seleucid rebels, it's at war with a nation that doesn't exist, i tried looking all over there country and the only nation theyre really at war with is parthia, yet it still says that seleucid empire is at war with seleucid empire and parthia.
My real question is how do i edit the save(or where do I find in the save to make them at peace with the phantom sel empire)and hopefully save my game from being ruined. Also how do i prevent this from happening again if I choose to start a new game? Is there a hotfix that prevents this I should know about?
I'm assuming this is all from a seleucid culture clash , I just need to delete it but im not sure how to go about, thanks in advance for any assisstance. I'd be happy to provide more info if anyone needs it.
