Hi!

I've been having an annoying issue where my savegame crashes on a specific date. I'm just running the CK2+ Wolfpack beta and Rex Teutonicorum 1.6.1 beta with no other mods.

Does anyone else have this issue? I have had it in pass versions, but I cannot for the life of me remember how I fixed it. I feel like the issue may be because of a corrupted event (perhaps a civil war since I have a powerful faction?).

Does anyone else have this issue? I included a copy of my savegame below.

Sorry if you would have preferred this in the bug thread, I wasn't sure if it was suitable there.

Thanks!

I am having the same problem, OP. I was having this issue in the previous version of the mod, but didn't say anything because I figured the update would fix it, but after going to the Wolfpack beta, it has happened again (after starting a new game, of course).

For me (on my current save file), the crash date is June 3rd, 1091. On previous attempts to play through, a save file has refused to proceed past February 3rd, and September 3rd (forget the years, but the day is always the 3rd), and usually will happen about 30-ish years into a save file. I will say, for my part, that I have no large factions, so if we're experiencing the same issue, then it is not caused by factions. Also, with my amateur abilities, I did not detect anything in the error log file which would cause the crash.

It's odd, but this is an issue that only happens for me in CK2+. It does not happen for me in vanilla, as put forth by the other poster, and it does not happen in After the End, but will always eventually happen with this mod. Which is unfortunate, because CK2+ is great!

What day do you crash on, OP?

I'm not going to debug saves with other mods.

If you have a clean CK2+ save, then post it in the bug reports. Threads like these are nearly useless.

It's seemingly random. I tried to edit my save by advancing the date forward, but it still crashes after a month or so. That's kind of why I think it's a broken event, seems to be linked with the MTTH.

I used to have this issue on vanilla (again, I don't remember how I fixed it) but I can't remember the last time it happened. I thought I read that the developers had patched it out.

I apologize, would this have been better suited on the Rex Teutonicorum thread?

Yep.
Always report crashes with submods in the submod threads first; the submod authors (in this case Cpoffers) can then still forward the problem should it not be related to the submod.
