After looking at HoI4 it seems to be a game I may want. To fire me up until I can save enough money I've decided to re-download HoI3 on steam (it's coming in right now) and play.

One problem is that I was god awful at HoI3. As such, I thought that an AAR where everyone tells me how I'm screwing up might be good, as it will help me learn how to not be awful.

I have a bad history of not finishing things I start, just being honest, so I may never finish this, but I do hope to have fun while playing.

Battleplan:

I will play a "short" game as a country that is going to get over-run early. France or Poland come to mind, perhaps even something more unique like Yugoslavia.

The idea is that you guys tell me what I'm doing wrong while I lead a battle I can't possibly win. Eventually I'll be over-run and lose.

At which point "phase two" begins

I play another game as a major power, Germany or the USSR likely, and see just how well I can do with my newfound knowledge.

I've already re-download puush, allowing me to quickly and easily take screenshots.

If this AAR is successful (and I finish it) I may do a WW1 mod, depending on how long this takes, and how long it takes for me to save up to buy HoI4
