i notice all of you guys have cable. And im thinking about getting that too, but for now i cant. So would my 56k work?

No problem with....
... a 56 kb modem. I have played with a 33.600 and it worked just fine....
You might have to play on 1 month per minute though... If you have a very high speed on the game you need more bandwidth....
Also notice that your ping to the other player is very important. Sometimes two players with cable might have a slower connection between each other than 2 with normal modems....
So just try it out...
