Hi All,

Need a couple of people to confirm that I am not insane. This bug was reported in the Epigoni Mod sub forum:

A couple of instances where the ruler's faction is not being read correctly when checking for eligibility of laws. These laws are in vanilla so I'm not sure if this is a vanilla or Epigoni bug. Never noticed it in vanilla, but I might not have paid attention to it either.

I have checked my Vanilla version and I get it every second time or so that I start up a republic, with different factions and different nations. I also checked a "virgin" copy of vanilla 2.1 and I also got it:

This proves that it is not my mod and a vanilla bug. Can someone please confirm, try it a couple of times please ?

Can't confirm by trying right now but I remember seeing this in vanilla often.

It seems that the game incorrectly displays the requirements for the law. It should be displaying, from looking at the code for the laws, "Is NOT a member of the Something Faction" (it is Lex Calpurnia and Lex Aelia et Fufia right?).

Confirmed, and Lofman is right. The game is not displaying the "NOT" part of the requirement.

Ah, and do you know if these are the only two laws that are not displaying the "NOT"?
