I just installed eu2 today and I already dled the 1.01 patch but in my first few games i havent been able to play past january of the first year in the grand campaign. the game is slow and laggy and crashes randomly before the first month ends. I have an HP 670MHZ celleron processor so it should run smoothly and i have directx 8.0 installed. plz message me back with any help

If your RAM is really low, the game is a tough nut to crack yes. If you DO have high RAM, I advise you to PM someone Uglyduck or so

.... or plough thro' the "Running problems" thread in the support forum. The advice there on closing down applications in the background etc should help.
You really need 128MB RAM for the game though.
A lot of the crashes will be fixed with the next patch due very soon :)

Give it up, your gonna need more RAM. 128 is an absolute minimum. Preferbly at least 256.

I am puzzled!
How much *total* RAM do you have?
If it is less than 128MB then I would advise you to buy more.
If you have 128MB but only 63MB is available then find out what is using the rest and close it down whilst playing the game.
As before - see the thread in the Support Forum.

Probably a lot of auto-starting programs. Get rid of them and you´re going a long way to free up more RAM and processor power.
