have just got free hearts of iron 2 with feilds of thunder, there isnt no manual,
its just some very basic questions ,can i download manual anywhere or look at a walk thro , having started on the game as usa hav got to oct 1941 no war is there a certain date ie japan invades pearl etc, everyone else is at war ? do i declare it ? why is there partisans taken over the home country ,
some other basic questions that i would like to add , any help would do ,

Try the HoI2Wiki for a start

The USA is not the best starting nation for a beginner, if you make yourself to strong (and as the USA you can easily do that) then Japan will not attack you and then you must declare war yourself.

Better starting nations are Germany or the Soviet Union
