OK, here's where I probably start to demonstrate my IT illiteracy...
I've been playing DD for a couple of months now, and thought it I ought to try out a MP game. Having purchased Armageddon from Gamersgate I thought it would be easy enough to install - how little I knew.
I have now uninstalled manually more times than I remember. I have followed the sticky to the letter, deleting the regedit files, the program files, the installations files, the Gamersgate folder and indeed, anything on my computer entitled 'doomsday', 'armageddon', 'HoI', 'hearts' or 'Paradox' that I can lay my hands through searches.
I have managed to install DD from disk again, and the 1.3 patch from Gamersgate (where is this 1.3a or 1.3b patch I keep hearing about?!). So far so good. But when I go into GG to install Armageddon it resolutely refuses to work.
What am I missing?
