I just start the game, I've tried the grand campaign with England, then after about two minutes it closes with no message or anything at all and goes to the desktop. What is happening and what can I do???

I think it's version 1.07c (i downloaded the update) and it's in english....

and its still doing it. I haven't been able to have a game yet, well I played for a whole two minutes before it crashed. HELP!!!!

Am I right in assuming you just enter the GC and do absolutely nothing and it closes? Or are you selecting something?

Also have you tried slowing or speeding the game time up does that increase or decrease the time the game is stable - or make no difference? i.e is it a particularly month/year it falls over in.

Finally trust me England is a tough nut to crack (not tried it yet ;) ) Have you tried another GC like Russia does it have the same results?

I open the game, go through the menus fine. When I go into the game, any country, it is fine for about 1 minute then just closes to the desktop. I think its my machine now. It does it with all my other games.

My computer was a bit like this.

My advice. Wipe your hard disk (after making a start-up disk of course) and reinstalling windows. In other words start again. You will have a brand new computer, just like the day you opened the box in delight. Memories eh!

BTW. I found your remarks earlier about PC's offensive!

You describe your Pentium 450 as 'just'. How dare you. I have a Pentium 350. I don't care what they say. My machine the best, the fastest and the best (oops I said that already).

Storm.

NB. 386 is 'just', Pentium is but a glint in the milkmans eye.
