Well, I found a fix.
Since I play Tera, and other games I usually have my Catalyst Control Center (AMD Cards) set as I want them to improve gameplay. Reading through what the Katarak guy said, I simply went into my CCC applications, and simply selected default. Ran Impire, and BAM, problem solved.
Totally forgot I had customized my CCC to better fit other games. Well, hope this solves some of the problems out there, not going to say it's a "For Sure Fix". But it's definitely the cause to my hallway issues being black.
Of course, it is the developers fault for only optimizing one type of card, and not making sure diff cards work, with different settings. this is seen in tons of games now a days where dev teams just get lazy, and want to earn a quick buck. I'm not suggesting they're lazy or anything, just something every game company "Should" do, but don't seem to being doing enough of now a days.
Again, hope this helps others out. Time for me to experience Impire before I go on vacation to the dominican =D.
