Heratic Pathfinding... "sorry sir, can t get there!!!"

I m surprise not having seen any thread on this and assume I'm the only one to face this problem but the pathfing of the game simply does not work with me....

I play France and can't bring a ship directly from Marseille to any port... always the same answer "sorry sir, I can't get there" of "sorry sir I do not understand!" :wacko:

I've tried every thing: using way points (it works but on short distances only and I never reach any port), using automatic trading route (never work - sometime its seems to approve and my ship end up stuck few hundred miles from the destination...). The only way I found to bring a ship from a port to another one was to get step by spet clicking at least 5 times to get one movement approved and progressively approching to the port for finally, after 5 or 6 unfruitfull tries, being allowed to enter....

My configuration is Windows Vista, Duo Core 2 (3GHZ), 4 GB ram, ATI HD 4870 x 2

At this stage the game is unplayable for me...

If you click other European ports... your crewmen are right. You can't sail there, they hate your guts and won't let you in.

If you can't enter neutral ports by simply right clicking them on the map... there's something seriously wrong with your installation. :-(

Try to reinstall the game, definitely something wrong.
