So having spent these few days playing far more CK3 than I should I do have one bit of criticism in that the heresy model is silly and just exhausting.
Like every twenty years a third of my vasals become heretics and I have to demand they all convert and imprison the ones who dont (and then demand again five years later). Its like having an instant protestant reformation twenty times during the game and its honeslty exhausting. I get that its a fun system to play around with creating your own religion but if you want to stay catholic its obnoxious, not to mention that in AI countries catholicism is basically a minority religion within two hundred years. The first time I had to spend a generation supressing a heresy I thought it was pretty cool, the fifth time it just feels like busy work.

My advice would be to either a) make each heresy be a one-time only event (so you would have one outbreak of Adamites or whatever) and then afterwards it would spread like any other religion or b) have the spreading of heresies be like a plot/ambition of a character where they target specific characters and try to convince them (a combination of their diplomacy/learning skills), like the sway ambition but for religious conversion.

Just wave after wave of heresy has really sapped the fun of this game for me.
