One of the things I like about KA is the amount of choice you get in customising your heroes. One of the things I don;t like is micro managing fiddly things like levelling units and topping them up all the time.

Pre-medieval history is not about standing armies, in fact pre-modern history is not about standing armies. This is something most computer wargames get wrong. I am wondering if there is anyscope to tie in the warbands of heroes directly to them. Moreover to make their unit sizes and compositions come directly from the provinces they govern.

The warband raised for the fight would then tie directly into a combiation of hero skills and their fuedal landholdings. As they take battle damage their local levy gets damaged so they turn up with less men next time. This ay we move heroes around and we get an army 'on the day'.

It also encourages us to look after and develope our territories, some for money and otehrs for troops.

Thanks for reading the slab of text, and I ralise it iscertainly far too late for anything like this to be included!
