High Command Group --- Recruiting --- Do You Want To Join Us?
About the group:
We are a group of 7 permanent players and 4 trial members playing hoi 2 mp regular on Saturday 14 gmt (Link to GMT clock: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/ ). One session is 6 hours long. The next game will begin on 2 September. By reading our Aar on this forum, you can get a good idea of how our games are being run (http://www.europa-universalis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=244075). In order to have a balanced game we have list of rules (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=203649). To resolve rule interpretations and investigate possible rule violations there is a group of 3 players (called the board).
The players, who are playing Germany and Uk, are alliance leaders and they make a general plan for their alliance. Plans for an upcoming session are often discussed on teamspeak the day before the session or during the week on email. To coordinate during the game each side has a teamspeak channel, where all members of one alliance are on during wartime.
If you are interested in joining, you can send me a mail on Highcommandrecruitment@hotmail.com. In your mail please include the following:
1) Short reason why you want to join the group.
2) What internet connection you have: (download and upload speed)
3) Your Timezone
4) How long you have played hoi2 and if you have any multiplayer experience.
5) Able to speak English.
What we are looking for in new member are persons that we will enjoy to have as teammates. As long you are willingly to learn and listen to allies, actual game skill is not important. When you join we only expect you to know the basics of the game (how to research, produce units, etc.). If I from your email expect you to become a good member, I will sent you a mail and ask you to join me on a teamspeak channel and we will play a battlescenario. If I and the other board members find you to be a good person, you will offered a trial membership status and you can join our main game. You will typically play a minor nation in your first game (romania and canada are often played by new players).
Since around 10 players have taken their Saturday off to play Hoi2, we have very little tolerance for people not showing up, being late or quiting when things are turning against your side.
