AAR Session 6

UK

The United Kingod tryed to force landing in Afrika, with sucsess we managed to hold Norh Afrika, and Suez.
With US aid we managed to loose 160 Transportships totaly, in the unsafe seas of Medeteranien.
The enamy we had was shoting down our aircrafts, something not fully expected was theair suprimecy in the air.

With huge losses in navel areas, few brave troops, thousends of allied deserters, and alot of angry Italiens, Germans, Pourtoricoiens, Persiens, Yougolsviens, Turks, Bulgaries, Hungerys, Spanish, Mansukos, Japanese, Phillepiners, Irish, Flemmish, Latviens, Lituiniens, Estoniens, Finnish, Argentiniens, Colombiens, Chileiens, Utuvaiens, Malayens, Siameneses, Afganistans, and Cuban enamys, we founded ourself slightly outnumbered, and right before the US Nuvcler weapons was opperationell, combined with our and the US ICBM programs, an combined Axis landing was made in US, to destroy our Reactor size 6, In Tulsa.

The only remaining secret weapon program was the British ICBM program, and our rocket test sites was the largest in the wourld. However when the US and UK economy collapsed, based on no rares left, and 4 UK convois left, the only sulution was to paradropp 4 Eliote divisions into Belin, and try to force a peace with the Axis.

However when the 4 divisions arrived by paradropp into Berlin, did thay discover that evry German family had each an Wolsvagen car, and all the consumer goods luxerys 450 IC can make, was to teamting for the heros who landed to arrest the German leaders... thay desided to stray in Germany. All the Albenquirke's and Mcalens changed surtenly names to Fritz, Gunter and Von Kluger's...

Additionaly did the UK divisions in the whole wourld get serius supplay problems, as the enamy subs had virtually destroyed the convois, alot faster then UK 300 IC could build them up.
UK lost on dayli basis 10 convois a day, and finnished 4 a day. (numbers based as avarage, and the avarage was seen at monthly, based on my evaluation of lossess at 430 pr 9 month period).

The Axis Air and Navel suprimecy as well combined with thair total IC suprimecy, and the collaps of SU - made the situation to be inpossible for us.

The last Allied plan was to make ICBM's in UK and lunch as "artillery support" to the fightings Russiens.
An alternative was to destroy the most unit consentrated provinse in SU with a Nuclere bomb, combined with a 200 V2 Rocked lunchings, combined with ICBM rockets, and target the units around Moscow... this would surly changed situations in east.

However the Jet driven Axis landed in Texas, with force, and made any such plan possible.

As the Texas sitizen's founded them self in good relations with the Axis, did thay accept to become a Puppet of Axis. This together with the hard pressed Allied economy, made any resistense to hard and unrealistic.

Today Lufthansa have domestic flights, Dusseldorf - Heatrow...

The situation in mid 1943 was not looking good. Turkey had just fallen and axis troops were surrounded in the syria. Luckily it was in mountain province with harbour. Italian navy could therefore evacuate the troops. 10 divisions were sent to greece prevent landings. Minium 1 div in each coastal province was placed to avoid paratroopers landing. A mobile corps of 3 motorized infantry were positioned in Athen. 20 divisions were placed in crete and prepared to land behind the british troops in north africa. The allies had 13 divisions in tobruk and an other 20 in surrounding provincies. German and spanish troops had been sent to the area. With main allied force in syria and the egyptian coast only weakly defended, it was believed that these troops could be cut off and forced to surrender. The province Fuka was undefended and axis troops landed there. At the same time an offensive south of tobruk to set motion. The allies realizing the axis plan began to move the troops from syria by sea. 30 german subs had arrived and with strong axis airforce in place, most of the allied transports were destroyed. Still many allied divisions were in syria and they had now to move by land. Heavy fighting was in north africa. Allied divisions desperately trying to move east. Around 13 divisions were forced to surrender in tobruk. An other 15 divisions were also close to be destroyed, but were saved by reinforcements from egypt. With many allied losses on sea and recaptured of tobruk the allied offensive in mid had been stopped.

This gave the axis the possibility to make an summer offensive in russia with full strength. Not needing to redeploy units from russian front to africa. The soviet union still had a large army, but was pushed very far back. Leningard had been under seige for a long time and first action to captured it. The russian troops were starving and nearly run out of ammunition. A massive attack on provincies was set motion when the mud cleared in may. The goal was to cut moscha off. With superior equipment and numbers the axis
was able to surrounded moscha in the summer. With soviet union reduced to two provincies the german and spanish troops could keep the soviet troops surrounded alone. The italian troops were redeployed to taranto. After 20 days an offensive in the mid could take place.

The axis troops were standing in tobruk and surrounded provincies and strong allied formations were standing on the egyptian side. Several attempts to take the province south of tobruk was taken by allies, but they were beaten back everytime. But beating the allies back the axis troops also took heavy losses, therefore it was not possible to counterattack after these attempts. With east front vetarans arriving in taranto it was possible to land in beirut. An offensive from iran into iraq had been initiated. With this pincer operation several allied tanks divisions were destroyed. The allies were also pushed back in north africa to el alamain. Navals bombers were busy bombing the red sea and destroying convoys bringing supplies to allied forces in turkey. Italian, romanian and hungarian forces attack allied forces there and found that they were out of supplies. Therefore they were easily overrun. The allied defence in mid was in 30 divisions in el alamain and 50 in sinia penensula. Several attempts to take the forces in the sinia pensuala meet with failture. The allies were simply to well dug in there. After a massive attack on el alamain it was taken. With the suez channel closed again, italy was again secure.

After the successfull japanese invasion of australia, the japanese were able to land in texas. Italy had secure cap verde islands to make an attack on brazil, but seeing the japanese successfull landing in usa these forces were redirected to texas. Mainland USA was only weakly defended and japanese and italian forces made great process. In August 1944 the USA realized that invasion could not be stopped. The axis controlled the skies and sea and therefore many more axis forces would soon be landing in usa. Italian forces were standing in province next to american nuclear reactor. When reinforcements would come europe, it would soon be in axis hands. The last hope of allies was crushed. The USA therefore sued for peace with the axis. Churchhill realized with usa out of the war, he could not defend british islands and also sued for peace.

Axis victory was a reality.

Japan session V

After succesfully invading The Dutch colonies in the East. Japanese troops in New-Guinea stumbled upon Australian troops. The Japanese Emperor was outraged. Again the Allies opposed our benevolent rulers objective, to free the Indonesian people from European oppressors. As the Japanese Navy suffred tremendous losses, it all increased their confiction. The Imperialistic Allied oppresors must be subdued, along with the Americans.

Althought losses were great, the Navy was reinforced instantly, as new ships took sea ready from the wharfs. Along with them fresh troops and experienced troops from the now peacefull India and occupied Sowjet lands. A major offencive started. Fearing still the prowess of the American Navy. Japanese High-command increased Air-operations and swift amphibian-landings. The East-Guinea side was heavily fortified by Australian troops. Japanese forces marched trough the heartland of Guinea, the dense forest, jungles, and wilds headhunters and diseases. Marching through the Bismarck range over the mountains, and now assaulting the beaches from the other side. Securing the whole of The Island from the inside.

Landings in Australia took place in, Katherine and Kulumbuy, cuting off the key province Darwin. Soon afther Darwin was secured, new landings took place in Weipa, from which Japanese troops marched onto the East coast of Australia, securing Townsville. Allthough the operation was a succes another loss was suffered by the hands of the file Americans. Lots of Ships were sunk, and another bulk of the japanese Navy was destroyed. As the maurraudering Americans retreated as pirates running away to their safe havens. The remnants of the Japanese Navy went on in honor of their Emperor operations continued as Japanese troops were landed on the West coast, taking Perth. And from then on along the South coast. The brave Japanese marched on taking Melbourne. However USA troops were sighted again. Beating them further back into a small South-East pocket of Australia, the brave Japanese could not best the enormous numbers sweeping in onto Australia. The Japanse lines finally broke as American numbers increased over Japanese bullets.

As Japanese lines break in Australia, and having suffured devastating losses at sea, and the warmongering Americans are swarming in like flies, it is apparent Japan is hard pressed, and will ship all available recources to its Axis brethren, and delay the New American threat at all costs. Navy factories are running at 200%.

Japan session VI

The Honarable Japanese Navy. All men serving are honored. Allthough losses were great their courage was examplarary. After a long and hard struggle in Australia, again the Japanese Navy was called upon to get all forces out. The crippled Japanese Navy did just that, manouvering through enemy waters, evading UK and US fleets, and evading air-squadrons and safely pulling all Japanese troops out of Australia. As Serawak, Indonesia and Maleisia was freed these new and young and virtually defenceless countries were reinforced, as American forces reoccupied Australia. Only a few Machuko div. left behind, as they gafe up their lives willingly knowing that Japanese forces were being shipped out to the Middle-East, giffing up their lives in turn in to delay Allied forces trying to reoccupy North Africa. The Small Japanese Navy could not handle both operations. Evenso The Japanese Navy encountered a large UK fleet in the Red Sea. The leading Admirals lead a Kamikazi fight. fighting the UK fleet and Airforce and dropping the Japanese troops to help their Axis friends. Only a few cruisers and destroyers remained. 16 Brave Japanes div. were lost as well, gifing their Axis brethren a breather when they occupied Suez, sending through large amounts of Rares and Oil and Metal.

Again as the fleet was destroyed a new fleet was forming in Fukuoka.

During the retreat from Australia and operations in the Middle-East, reports came in from ..... . The island and troops were heavily bombed. And before the High-Command could react to the new American threat, the Island was invaded. An American invasion could be iminent, however it would not be feared. Anyone Japanese citzen young or old counts as 10 arogant American cowboys, though Japanese high-command kept a close eye on American activity of the coast of Japan, Indonesia and Chinese coast line was further reinforced, in case the Americans were foollish enough to attempt an invasion.

Intelligence Reports from the Hungarian Sky-Marchal came in to have sighted a Large American Navy around the penisula of Arabia. The Japanese Admirality, had a lightning fast reaction and sent in its new fleet and all available bombers, to strike the Americans strong at sea. In cooperation with Hungarion led airforces the Japanse Fleet and Airforces assaulted the American fleet, and totally anniolated the American fleet, not a single ship servived. Also there was an increased American presence in the Middle-East launching a counter offensive on Axis possession in the Middle-East and North-Africa.

More Hungarian scouting reports came in. Americans in the Middle-East were shipped in from Australia. This meant Australia would virtually defenceless again. Knowing the strong American fleet was destroyed, Japanese high command launched a reinvasion of Australia. All remaining Australian and American forces were quickly destroyed, and the ISland taken into possession as Japanese sympathatic Australians were put into power over their new Government. As no Americans opposed the Japanese Navy and fleet or dared to show itself. The Japanese moved on to New-Sealand and Samoa.

These new conquested were way to easy and knew the Americans would be up to something. Not awaiting the Americans to reveal their plans Japanese High-Command counseled with the European Axis and told them they would Land an invasion onto American soil.

New intelligence reports came in from the Hungarion Sky-Marchal. The Americans were producing a weapon of Awfull destruction, and were nearing completion. The weapon was produced at a Nuclear complex in Tulsa.

Using Guatemala and Nicaragua as their base, Japanse high command tried to assault Panama. Seeing Panama heavily fortified the Japanese Navy and Invasion force sailed around South-America, taking in supplies in Guatemala., as Japanese Airforce arrived the cover the 2 invasion fleets. Also the Hungarion lead European forces were ready to counter any Ameican opposition. As Japanese fleets set out 1 fleet landed in Tampa and 1 fleet landed in Corpu Christy, the Tampa fleet, drew out the American fleet, and radio-ed in; Japanese Airforce and Hungarion lead Airforce scrambled and assaulted the American fleet. The Japanese Tampa-fleet retreated, as the Corpus Christy fleet invaded and succesfully occpied and secured the province. With the Corpus Christy fleet now empty it also assaulted the American fleet. And secured the retreating Tampa fleet as it sett sail for Corpus Christy as welll unloading there troops.
It didn't take long for the Axis offencive to destroy the entire American Navy present in the Gulf. As Japanese assaulted and secured surrounding provinces, and the Japanese Navy sent in more troops from Nicaragua and Guatemala. The Italian Navy set sail from Cap Verdian Islands transporting a large groundforce to force a way to the Tulsa to capture the Awful American weapon of Mass-destruction. Japanese Navy secured the Large Italian Force as they entered the gulf. As soon as the Italians landed they took the lead in the Offensive and marched onto Tulsa blasting away all American opposition. Knowing all was Lost and their Awfull weapon would fall into Axis hands the Americans surrendered. Soon after England surrendered to Germany. The II World War was at an end.

German AAR

march 1943 - aug 30 1944

The axis was on a real low at the begining of 1943. Being stuck in russia with the majority of its armies and facing a huge allied invasion in the mideast, turkey and probably soon europe itself which was poorly defended by a few yugoslavian divisions. :(

The allied offensive

Fortunately the german armsindustry had focused totally on fighterproduction lately (30 units) and just had send Dönitz and his 30 new class 5 subs in a rush to the med. sea.

Dönitz and the german high command couldnt believe its luck when the subfleet just after its arrival in athens ran into one huge allied landingforce after another sinking a total of 60-70 TPs of which some of where carrying the latest and best armyformations the allies could bring up at the moment.
With the aircover and navalbombers that the axis could provide we could sink even more navy. This was of course a total succes making our situation go from hopelessness to hopeful.

This succes led to major cancelations of redeployments from the russian front to the south of europe which was just about to take place, only a dozen german divs had been called down so far for this cricis.

The romanians held an important ground separating the allies in turkey from their mainarmy in arabia. And we later landed with more spanish and hungarian troops in syria thus making the allied armies in turkey get a very difficult possition. Later they would surrender.

The turmoil around the suez and mideast would continue a good while and with much help from the hawkeyed general attis we saw 2 unprotected airfields with several allied planes on them so italy immediately carried out landings with 1 div on each of them and destroying many planes on the ground in the process. The allied had lost all its fighters in this operation.
Even Mr Hitler himself could smell victory now as he opened his finest schnapps when these news reached him.

In russia The long siege of Leningrad was ended with a storming of the city.
The summer of 1943 continued with huge offensives and succeded in taking soviets last port Archangelsk. No more Bigmacs would be sent to Stalin from america and the UK. As the axis armies moved in on moscow shrinking the sivetcontrolled land ever more the waitinggame began.. With a soviet army of 201 div and 14 base ic it wouldnt take long before starvation would set in...Winter was here again.
And in the following summer 1944 the whole soviet army was surrounded in moscow. We could start to bring back some of our troops.

Below: The plan for barbarossa

Nuclear reactors was being built as scientists had persuaded Hitler that great weapons could be created out of these new technologies. Spies also had info on allied attempts to create such a weapon. In jan. 1945 the german reactors(7) and testingsites would be ready to build this nuclearweapon.

As uk had only 1-2 divs on its coasts, paratropers was made and an invasionforce assembled in frances inland. Just when the operation was to begin the usarmy had landed big armyformations preventing the landings. Instead neutral ireland was invaded in a combined attack air/water also northern ireland was taken in this operation. Soon afterwards the liberation of whole Ireland was reality. The paratroopers continued and took the azores, a nice place to arrange the americaninvasion.

In africa and the mideast the allies where pressed back to sinaidesert and the suez. There they had a few forts built and could hold out.

At one point Berlin was terrorized by an UK kamikazeattack by paratroopers
they ran amok in the city for a few days b4 the army arrived and arrested them as prisoners of war. They where later dumped by air over London(without parachutes) stuffed with some of the rare materials they had gotten their hands on.

Below: The american invasion (note the reactor and testing sites in Tulsa).

Suddenly out of the blue japan landed in texas and held the important corpus christi and houston provinces. The other axis followed in the japanese steps and soon the place was full with axis airforce navy and troops. The from begining isolationistic usa realized this wasnt what they joined the war for and capitulated. Soon afterwards the uk followed their example and became a province of the new Reich.

R2-D2

PS.

Great game everyone! Thanks for an excellent game, specially the axis side Malik, Attis, Citizen-x and Robin for a good cooperation and fun. :) A lot smoother this session when i got my new headset working again.
And Tempus thanks for sacrificing your spanish buildup and substituting for soviet when they where in real trouble in the last 2 sessions. Good work in africa and caucasus as spain. Your army was very nice to have later in the war.

Oops had to edit some illegal symbols in the mod. version of the game.

Nice Game!

I really wonder what would have happened if the allied "transport blunder" ;) in the Med hadn't taken place.
The game would certainly have been interesting for a little longer... :p

Once again it is prooven, that in a MP one serious mistake can ruin the whole campaign.
(Like accidentially retreating your 12 best Panzer Divisions in the middle of an easy to win battle at the spearhead - to loose them as they retreat into a province that is just taken by the enemy....
It was a simple clicking mistake - I swear :eek:o  )
