Bulgaria/Nat Spain

Bulgaria January 1st 1936 - July 19th 1936
With the growing threat from the communism in the east Bulgaria decided to strengthen its ties with Germany. Several projects to buildup the industries were undertaken so the Bulgaria would be ready to defend itself. After a few months our suspicions of communists were confirmed as bulgarian intelligence foiled several attempts to infiltrate our country by soviet spies.

Nat Spain July 19th 1936 - April 1937
In July 1936, after a political coup, a communist government came to power in Spain. A few spanish patriots rose up to overthrow the communist dictatorship. In the beginning of the war things were going bad in the south where communists enjoyed a numerical superiority, but as more nationalist forces were moved from the north the scales could be tipped in our favour. Despite getting help from other communist nations the remains of communist forces were rounded up in south where they surrendered on 7th of November. After the Spain was united again we have started to prepare our nation against the future communist threat. We have also improved our diplomatic relations with other nationalist nations so we can stand united against a common enemy.

IMPERIAL JAPAN

January 1936 - April 1937

With our expansion into Manchuria now long since past, and our need for resources grows greatly every day, it has come time to expand the Empire.

While trade provides us with enough raw material for our factories to run at full strength, this in turn comes at a pirce, and we are not self-sufficient in our ability to run our own industry---this is not acceptable. It must be remedied, and to that end we have an old foe to engage: China.

The Chinese are weak, divided, unable to properly defend themselves---we can topple them with little effort. Our Generals have already begun preperations......


We expect war to come soon. Our expectations place the fall of China within one year---the Chinese will crumble before the might of Japan...

The political situation for UK does not look good. A new and dangerous alliance in the lead by Germany has been formed. Italy has savagely attacked the proud nation of Ethiopia and subjected its people. Albania has also been added to the so-called new Roman Empire. We should love to bring freedom to these people and all the people living under dictatorship. But our forces are far from ready and the people are still demanding that the economy is used for consumer goods and other welfare benefits. Luckily a huge demonstration took place in London demanding the British politicians will stand up for freedom and the public got more in favour of inventionism.
In USA the republicans won the president election and the pigheaded isolationist Alf Landon became president. This does not bode well for us. Luckily the proud nation of Canada is standing by our side and has become much more involved in world affairs due to the many visits and speeches made by Anthony Eden.

Canada has, in these times of trouble, Italian-German aggression, and other unwanted affairs, commenced with upgrading of our industrial capacities and developing new advanced technologies to arm the modern forces of Canada. Technical aid from Britain, as well as influencing, has given Canada a highly professional army, along with a will to war-like stance in said world affairs. Canada will stand by its mighty allies and intervene in world affairs. The Canadian populace is also moving toward a more war-like stance in said affairs. The Commonwealth, with brave Canadians to support it, will stand strong in the face of oppression and tyranny.

Italy 1/1-1936 to April 1937.

Italy has realised its own pathetic Industry Base is not enough to see it securely through the coming International Debacle. Therefore it has been decided that Italy should start an aggressive Industrial expansion. Both through increased domestic investments, but also through an Aggressive foreign Policy. This has already resulted in the inclusion of both Ethiopia and Albania into the emerging Roman Empire. It is soon time to take control of Egypt once again.

Germany

Jan 1936 - April 1937

Germany has started to rearm and reform its industry after the humiliating treaty of Versaille. The Ruhr has been retaken and alliances with Romania and Italy has been formed.

But the outer threat is contantly making its presence felt.
Comintern is doing its dirty work within european countries, spying and sabotaging. But the security ministery will now help our friends to clean out these communists.

Current Situation is stable with Oil along with other resources being gathered. Production is under way and soon the Industrial base is being built up and soon Romania shall have a strong foundation.

Germany

Apr 1937 - Mar 1938

Things are looking brighter: The versaille treaty has no meaning to the german government anymore. And the communist spycampaign against europe has been thwarted. The romanian dictator has taken control of his country again after a time of anarchy, but time will tell if he's capable of ruling for long.

Now we are only waiting for the allies to realize that they cannot keep the german reich from reuniting again. The question is only wheter it will take force or nor for that.

Several policy changes in politics were made in Spain as we closely observed and learned from the German political model. Otherwise not much else happened as we continue strengthen our industrial base for the coming war.

Japan April 1937 - March 1938

China:

Our victory in China is only a matter of time---short time, to be sure.

Our invasion is successful, so far our glorious armies have decimated the opposition and we will soon be triumphant---the Chinese will soon fall, and we shall have all that we need to further the expansion of our Empire...

There was much protest of our actions in Nanjing by the west, but it matters little to us what they think---we will do as we please, when we please; none shall determine the fate of Japan except herself!!

Argentina has provided us with useful assistance, despite being limited in its abilities; we won't forget this help, and shall reward the Argentinians when able for their loyalty.


In Japan, all is well; while the war progresses smoothly, so does the functions of our government and its people. Japan is at the highest level of power it has ever been, and we still climb higher!

The political situation is continuing to grow worse for the forces of freedom. Japan has recklessly attacked china and is bringing its people under its harsh rule. In Europe Germany is preparing to attack the peaceful nation of Austria.

Our economic policy was attacked by the communists and other far left elements. The labour unions were preparing huge strikes and demonstrations, but a deal with liberal members in conservative party calmed the situation and we only saw a few strikes and demonstrations.

Our military build-up continues, but Germany and her allies have a much stronger economic strength than we have. The future looks grim for forces of democracy and freedom.

It has not been long since the british foregin minister made a visit to the US. The Britts are a very concerned people. The press counted 49 instances of the minister using the word concerned.....

US keeps its focus on our people, continously improving the wealth of our contry, our industrial capabilities are ever rising.
The Japanese have shown hostilities towards China, but this is a minor concern (learned a new word) to the US. The Japanese know where the line is.

Brasil

Brazil, the mightiest nation of South America, has acheived its goal of industrial production. This high goal, set by the mighty nation's leader, has resulted in a total revamp of Brazil, giving the citizens a higher standard of living, and allowing for production of a large and modern army. Brazil has proven its ability to meet goals and grow.

The nation of Brazil is already increasing its military, and researching new and more modern technologies.

A new player is about to hit the world stage.

Italy

It is with great concern that we have followed the developments on the world stage. Several of the socalled democratic nations has been talking about increasing their military capabilities and some has even mentioned WAR!

We have seen a continued attempts by foreign countries to send spies into Italy. This is just another example of the warlike behaviour the Peacefull Italian nation has to indure.

Italy will offcourse monitor these warmongering countries actions more closely in the future. As a pure precaution we have started a crash build program that should inable us to defend our peaceloving nation incase off a unprovoked attack. These changes in our Defence Policy is offcourse of pure defensive nature.

Inactivity is death.

UK aar

Betrayal. Hitler has shown himself to be a liar and cheater. He broke the Munich agreement and have invaded the Czech and given Slovakia to the greedy Hungarians. Now the Germans are planning to strike at the Poles, but this time we will not let us be fooled by Hitler talk about peace in our time. We have guarantee Poland existence and will go to war, if Germany attacks that nation. Our allied nation we stand ready to defend the course of freedom and democracy. RAF is ready to fight any German threat in the air and the mighty royal navy will keep the seas under our control.

The Brazilian foreign minister visited UK and he was a little tired after the long journey, so we gave him a cup of strong coffee and a bag for the travel back home. It should be able to keep him awake for a long time.

Japanese Empire:

Victory!!

The pitiful Chinese are now under our boot, they hardly even put up a fight! Japan is now among the most powerful nations in the world!!!

Our Empire is massive, our armies powerful, and our determination unwavering---Japan is destined for Greatness!


The Empire is now in a relative peace, with a few Chinese rebels being squashed here and there; there is little to concern us now.
However, elsewhere in the world, things are heating up---a chance may soon arise for Japan to become even more powerful.....

But for now, we bide our time....waiting for the moment to strike at those who would prevent us from taking our rightful place in the world...


One thing to note: the Brazilian President called up the Emporer merely to complain about China---he seemed rather tired, but demanded in a long winded (due to the yawning) tantrum that we either leave China at once, or "hurry up" because "it's taking too long."
Although the Emporer found this demand strange and was quite perplexed, he was also greatly offended at the impudence of this foolish Brazilian---however, before he could respond the Brazilian President fell asleep and the phone dropped the floor, causing the call to end.


Overall, all is well in the Empire.
