When independent kingdom has High Crown Authority king title cannot be inherited by anyone outside the realm.

Castille Galicia and Leon are one realm and have the same inheritance law (agnatic cognatic primogeniture) however Castille and Galicia have Medium Crown Authority and Leon has High Crown Authority.

My daughter who is heir of Leon is courtier in Castille that's why I assume it's about crown authority.

I've also described this here http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?585835-Can-anyone-explain-this-(Strange-inheritance)&p=13437314#post13437314.

Would you want an outsider coming in and taking over your house? ;)

But who is really outsider here?

Look:

When I played as Guilhem (William the Conqueror, game changed his name when I switched his culture to Frankish) I married Guillaume (King of England on first screeenshot) to Queen Ermengarda of Castille.
He went to castillian court at Burgos as King-Consort of Castille and had children with Castillian Queen there.

When Guilhem died he went back to London to became King of England etc... When Queen Ermengarda died in accident :p Rorgon became King of Castille Galicia and Leon and I came to the situation from first screenshot.

If Guillaume's daughter Ermengarde dies before Rorgon then random person is heir to Leon.

How can random person be more legitimate to be a King of Leon then father of a King and husband of last Queen.

High Crown Authority means sort of : The crown has high control of everything that happens within the realm. They have authority to continue keep it within the realm. In other words it works exactly as designed.

How can random person be more legitimate to be a King of Leon then father of a King and husband of last Queen.

If the father of a King and husband of last Queen is not a part of the Kingdom, than any random person that is living in the kingdom IS more legitimate.

Then tool tip about High Crown Authority is clearly wrong since it says only about vassal titles, not the primary realm title.

I understand its design decision but still I find it very strange and I doubt that there are any historical examples for this.
