My concern goes to the High Lordship of Rosby, Bronn in the A Feast for Crows scenario starts as a vassal to Duke Gyles of Rosby, but it is possible to conquer your way to his High Lordship title as Bronn. I have done it several times. My question is though, if Bronn would have aquired the whole area of Rosby in the books would he have been called Lord Rosby or would he have changed the High Lordship title to his own, Blackwater? Because when you look at the history of that title only Rosby's have ruled and the Septry too is also called Rosby. But if a new dynasty would have taken over would they have kept 'Rosby' as the the name?

Nah, I don't think that would be the case mainly because of Casterly Rock/Lannister, House Lannister did not rename Casterly Rock but before the Lannisters they were ruled by House Casterly.

I'd also like to mention that Highgarden wasn't ruled by a House Highgarden but rather House Gardener and then House Tyrell, it kind of differs, I'd say.

Oh woops, true, I mixed it up but the point still remains. :p

In real life people are often named after places. I would imagine that Rosby was called Rosby before the Rosby family had a name. They then took the name of the place rather than the other way around. Bronn is the perfect example. He takes Blackwater from the battle of Blackwater Bay. The place where he did something significant and acted heroically which earned his knighthood.
