Yeah, the Byzantines are being downright feisty in comparison to their usual capitulation to the Seljuks early on followed by slow descent into obscurity.

Astounding to see them retaining at least parts of the interior of Anatolia. Perhaps this history will smile somewhat more warmly upon the Greeks than did actual history.
