I finally got around to searching for the link to the patch and the bad news is that I don't have the email! I recently reinstalled Windows and although I keep all my email in a pst file (which I backed up) I discovered to my dismay that stuff still sitting in your Inbox does not get included. D'oh.
The slightly better news is that I *think* I still have the executable on my drive somewhere. It's kinda sizeable (5mb or something) but, if I still have it, and you still want it, I can email it to you in zipped chunks, or via some other method of your choosing.

Hi folks,
I have the Paradox/Strategy First version (dark grey box) of this game. When Gamezone (now called GP Store www.gpstore.co.nz ) in Dominion Rd, Auckland, first received EUII it was the Paradox/Strategy First edition. They only received a limited number of them and ran out quick - they kept one for me which was nice of them. After about 6 weeks or so they received a second shipment, but this was the Typhoon Games version (in its distinctive bright blue box) and I grabbed a copy for a work mate of mine.
As I have the beta patch (see my thread in this Support Forum titled "Australian Patch 105") for my flavour of the game and still experience crashing problems, albeit much less now, I'm going to be interested in seeing what transpires regarding Typhoon Games and the promised patch from them. If and when it arrives and if it appears to resolve the gaming issues then I think I'll consider purchasing a copy of that one for myself as well.
So, I'm going to keep an eye on this thread and see what happens.

I would say stick with the SF/Paradox version you have, at least, other patches seems to work on it.

I would prefer, however, if someone were to offer to host it somewhere. It's not particularly large but it takes ages to send via the inefficient medium that is email.

Update - the patch works perfectly for my version.
Even shows 1.05 in-game.

why do you need the Typhoon patch since you're in Canada? You should have the NA version (Strategy First)
Funny story about that, actually...
I was on eBay and the asking price was something like $5 US and the shipping address said San Francisco. I ended up winning the auction at $30, and when the courier delivered the game, the shipping address was from Singapore! That's globalization for you... So that's how I ended up with the Typhoon version of the game and that's why I'm begging one of you to please take pity on me and send the typhoon patch. Thanks, my Commonwealth brethren.

Having not checked the EU boards for a while (too much time reading about HOI) I thought I'd take a cursory glance to see if anything of interest had popped up in my absence. Lo and behold I see my old friend, the "...patch? publisher = Typhoon?" thread rearing its ugly head again!
