HOI 2 Aussie group..Tuesday game(7pm-11pm)

Well ran into probs for a Friday night game. Forgot im already committed to going to the football with a mate from work this Friday so thats out. We have our sunday game on sunday so we cant play then. Monday 11th, Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th, im working night shifts. This monday is mrs birthday so cant do that either, not looking good. Gez cant do this Thursday or saturday so there out.

So this leaves us at Thursday the 14th, Friday 15th, Saturday 16th, Monday 18th and ofcourse back to our normal Tuesday on the 19th. Would be good if we could fit in two session prior to going back to tuesdays. So pick a few days that suits you and we will narrow it down. Bit of a break but cant be helped, still have sunday game i guess.

No Game tonight. Looks like next Thursday 14th is the earlist we can get a session up for the Tuesday game.

We might play Thursday and Friday or Monday with the Tuesday game at the above dates to make up lost sessions. Let me know if you can mkae thoses dates. Ta.
 
I'm free most nights as long as I get a days notice :)
 
So next Thursday the 14th and friday the 15th so far are the days set for our tuesday game. 7pm starts, hope everyone can make that.

Can definatly make Friday 15th though, and tuesdays as normal of course.

I can make the Tuesday game now, having a sick day as i am sick, heheh. So if we can all make it 7pm Tuesday, if not 7pm Friday.

Away this Tuesday and Friday...

Unable to make Tuesday 12th JUL night and will be in Melbourne Friday 15th -- still not sure about next Sunday 17th, will keep in touch.

You would be more than welcome to play. If you have good cable or ADSL connection it should be fine. You need to make sure you have version 'uphq' I think. You have to change the reinforcement figure from .8 to .4 there is a post in the Aussie messages.


Just on the Tuesday game....A bit disappointed the way its going. Not happy with everyone ganging up on Russia. Italy taking over Turkey and the Russians having to sit back otherwise the Germans declare war on them. Then the Japs attacking from the East. If you ask me I think it is totally unfair on Omni as a new player to be faced with an atatck on 3 fronts in 1941. I like to see next time if that is the case all the house rules on Japan and USA declaring war thrown out the window. If the japs are going to use annexed China as staging bases for attacks on India and lengthing the Eastern front by 20 provinces the USA should be allowed to declare war or the Japs must be restricted to at least 1943 before the can declare war on the Russians. Do you think the Russians would sit back while the japs annex all the Chinas and have mulitple provinces to atatck Russia from. I think it totally unfair what you guys are doing and I dont care if you planned it from
1936.
I know the UK is too hard for you guys because they have massacred the german navy and now you ganging up on the easy guy. I cant see how any game can work out without some house rules in relation to DOW's. If we cant come up with something I am not going to waste 3 months playing a game for nothing. The river defense is a myth and from what I have seen in Russia the germans have had no trouble crossing any rivers.


So the moral of this story is I like to see a House rule with the following restrictions placed on Japan:

2 rules open for discussion( i will transfer to rules thread later).....

either /or

1/ Japan may not DOW Russians before 1943

2/Japan may not launch attacks from annexed or occupied Chinese territories on India or the Russians. The may however launch atatcks from Manchuria.

My main argument is that Japan is given a free reign in China to gain the resources and IC to take on the USA. They are using all this territorial advantage to take on the Russians and the Russians are not permitted to interfere in the China war to prevent this.

The game will be over shortly come summer 1942 so we should seriously look at our rules for the next game.
